Maharashtra Cabinet, on Tuesday, has approved Rs 100 cr for the Balasaheb Thackeray memorial taking in consideration the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections.
The decision was taken by the cabinet headed by Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis. The BJP govt seems to have taken decision to reduce the bitterness with the ally party Shiv Sena, which was founded by Balasaheb Thackeray.
The ally party of BJP had earlier announced to contest elections on their own.
