A video of a young girl's dance performance has gone viral on social media for all the right reasons. Anjali, 11, lost one of her legs to cancer but despite that, she put up a brilliant performance during a medical conference in Kolkata recently. She danced to Shreya Ghoshal's hit number Mere Dholna Sunn from Akshay Kumar's 2007 film Bhool Bhulaiyaa and it was nothing short of fantastic.

Resplendent in a lehenga choli, Anjali performed difficult Kathak steps and chakkars to the beats of the song and danced with effortless ease as the audience cheered for her. Dr Arnab Gupta, who attended the conference, recorded Anjali's performance and shared it on Facebook.

In his caption, Dr Gupta said that Anjali aspired to be a dancer but lost one of her legs to cancer. "Our treating doctors and nurses inspired her with the story of Sudhachandran. She fought back to become an outstanding dancer within a couple of years, winning several accolades and hearts," an excerpt from Dr. Gupta's post reads.
