The answer is Rs 101. Dr Vikas Divyakirti recently in an interview for a Hindi portal revealed, "Me and Manoj are very good friends. We talk once a week regularly. Then Manoj called me and said that he had called me for work. He told me that Vidhu Vinod Chopra will talk to you in the evening. I was surprised and shocked. I told him he is an ideal director. 3 Idiots and Munna Bhai movies are my favorite. A call was arranged at 7 pm since I had to take an online class at 8 pm."

 

"I thought how much Vidhu Vinod Chopra would talk to me. Mostly 5 to 10 minutes. Then Manoj again called me in the evening saying that he would talk to me on a video call. I generally do not talk on Video Calls. When the VC started, Vidhu Vinod Chopra said I know you. You speak very well. It was like we were lost friends. I should not say this but Vidhu Sir's team offered me X amount of money which was a huge amount. I said that are you mad. Film-making is my dream. People spend their life to spend time with Vidhu Vinod Chopra and I am getting that offer. Actually, it is me who should pay. Then we reached to a conclusion. As a good will gesture, sir gave me Rs 101," added Dr Vikas Divyakirti. 

 

Who is Dr Vikas Divyakirti?

 

For the unversed, before becoming a teacher,  Dr Vikas Divyakirti had reportedly cleared the UPSC Civil Services Examination in his first attempt but had left the job. Born on December 26, 1973, in Haryana, Vikas Divyakirti reportedly did his schooling from Saraswati Shishu Mandir in Bhiwani. He then did his graduation from Delhi University's Zakir Husain College. 

 

Following his resignation from the Ministry of Home Affairs, Vikas Divyakirti established 'Drishti IAS' in 1999. Today, 'Drishti IAS' has become one of India's premier UPSC coaching institutes and online study web portals. Currently, it is located in three cities and its main center is in Mukherjee Nagar, Delhi. It also has branches in Uttar Pradesh's Prayagraj and Rajasthan's Jaipur.
