Malav Rajda, director of the popular TV show Taarak Mehta ka Ooltah Chashmah has quit the show after 14 years of association. His exit came after the other big names of the show left including Neha Mehta, Raj Anadkat, and Shailesh Lodha.

A source from the show’s production unit claimed that the reason behind his exit was a rift with the production team, however, while interacting with the media Malav refuted all the claims and said, “If you are set out to do good work, there will be creative differences within the team but it’s always to improve the show. I had no fallout with the production house. I only have gratitude for the show and for Asit bhai (Modi, show producer).”

When the media personnel asked him the reason for his exit he stated, “After doing the show for 14 years, I thought I had gone into a comfort zone. I thought to grow creatively it’s best to move out and challenge myself.”
