On Tuesday, Jalandhar recorded 17 fresh cases of coronavirus with which total count now stands at 925.
Health Department is in a state of shock to see so many patients coming together. The cases that emerged today have come from different areas of the city namely Gobindgarh, Dilbag Nagar, Adarsh Nadar, Basti Bawa Khel, Qazi Mohalla, Bhogpur, Makhdumpura, Issa Nagar, Joginder Nagar, Rama Mandi, Civil Hospital and Babu Labh Singh Nagar.
On the national front, Coronavirus cases are on the rise. The total number of infected people in India has crossed the mark of 7 lakh.

According to the latest figures from the Ministry of Health, 7,20,000 people have been infected with the corona so far. Of these, 20160 people have died, while 440,000 have recovered.
