Weeks after a Telangana doctor was raped and killed by four men in Cyberabad, an 18-year-old girl was allegedly raped by an autorickshaw driver under Chandrayangutta Police Station limit of Hyderabad. The incident happened on December 8.
The girl and her 10-year-old sibling had reportedly lost their way back home when the autorickshaw driver offered to help the two. The accused later took the two to a lodge in Nampally area of the city and raped the girl.
The victim's sister was asleep when the accused raped the girl. The accused dropped the two girls near Falaknuma railway station the next morning. The girl later contacted her family and narrated her ordeal.
Her family had also lodged a missing complaint. The police have booked case under relevant sections.
