A shocking incident surfaced from Paris earlier this afternoon after a rampant shooting instigated by a 69-year-old gun-borne assailant left two dead and four others grievously injured.

Confirming the French media reports, the investigating team of police soon swung into action and nabbed the shooter. Reportedly the man who has been arrested opened fire on the migrant camp a year ago.

The intention involved behind the shooting wasn’t immediately clear. The prosecutor’s office opened a murder investigation. French Anti-terrorism prosecutors are investigating the shooting, although haven’t indicated any form of a sign of the terrorist motive.

Police had cordoned off the area in the 10th arrondissement of the French capital, and the Paris police department had warned people to stay away from the area.

The reports surfacing on the matters say that the incident that broke out in Central Paris was at the Kurdish Community Center and both the victims who were killed are Kurdish. "The shooting took place at a Kurdish community center situated in the Rue d'Enghien as well as at a restaurant facing the Kurdish center and a hairdresser", said mayor Alexandra Cordebard.

Moreover, the center where the incident took place is just 26 minutes away from Eiffel Tower. The shooting occurred in front of the Kurdish Cultural Center, in the 10th arrondissement in Paris
