A program is organized at the Golden Temple in Amritsar to mark the 38th anniversary of Operation Blue Star. During this program, the slogans of Khalistan Zindabad are raised. Along with the pilgrims, Khalistan supporters have also arrived. The families of those, who were killed in operation have also come. Thousands of people are coming to pay their tribute at the Darbar Sahib.

Giani Harpreet Singh, the Jathedar of Akal Takht, and associates of Shiromani Gurdwara Prabandhak Committee will felicitate some people.

There are also speculations about the arrival of Sarbat Khalsa's Jathedar Dhyan Singh Mand in the program. In the last few years, after Giani Harpreet Singh's message, Dhyan Singh Mand also tries to deliver the message, after which there is a clash between the SGPC and Sarbat Khalsa supporters.

Police and security forces have been deployed on all roads leading to and from the Golden Temple. SGPC has also deployed its task force inside the campus. Police have made security arrangements inside and outside the Golden Temple to ensure that no incidents like in the past can happen.

On Sunday, Ghallughara’s memorable freedom march was taken out by Dal Khalsa. The youth also reiterated the demand for the release of the captive Sikhs during this period. While addressing the leaders of the organization Kanwarpal Singh Bittu, Harpal Singh Cheema, Paramjit Singh Mand, Paramjit Singh Tanda, etc. said that Operation Blue Star is an event not to be forgotten by the Sikhs.
