Ludhiana, March 5: As a part of the series of eventsdedicated to the 400th Prakash Purab of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji, theEducation Department on Friday organized painting competitions among thestudents of classes 1 to 5 in Government Primary School, Bhamia.
Disclosing more information, District Education Officer(Elementary) Rajinder Kaur said that these competitions are being held tocommemorate the 400th Prakash Purab of Ninth Sikh Guru and disseminate theteachings of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji among the students.

She said that Sri Guru Teg Bahadur Ji’s unparalleled andsupreme sacrifice to uphold the value of righteousness, truth and freedom offaith would be always remembered by one and all.
She told that Ajay Kumar of 5th class secured firstposition, Shashi of 4th class and Khushi of 5th class attained second and third positions.
