CMO Telangana informs central govt, 6 people who attended Nizamuddin congregation dead due to Covid-19

In a major upset by the Muslim community of Nizamuddin (Old Delhi), Chief Minister Office of Telangana revealed that 6 people have died due to Coronavirus who had attended the Tablighi Jamaat congregation in Nizamuddin (Old Delhi).

As per reports by CMO Telangana, coronavirus has spread among some of those who attended a religious prayer meeting from 13th to 15th March at Markaz in the Nizamuddin area of Delhi. Among those, who attended were some persons from Telangana. Of them, six died.

News broke out on Monday that nearly 200 people were taken from the Nizamuddin area in New Delhi to various hospitals by district health authorities after they showed symptoms of Covid-19. Later an FIR was filed by Delhi Government against the Nizamuddin Maulana Saad Kandalwi for organizing Tablighi Jamaat.
