7 New appointments in Punjab Congress: Pargat Singh among 5 Vice Presidents; Sandeep Sandhu as General Secretary

7 new appointments have been made in Punjab Congress. Capt. Sandeep Sandhu, who was close to former CM Capt. Amarinder Singh has been made General Secretary

In the Punjab Congress, there have been seven new appointments. Captain Sandeep Sandhu, a close friend of former Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh, has been named General Secretary. He changed the camp after removing Captain from the position of CM. During Captain's tenure, he served as his advisor.

Pargat Singh and Aruna Chowdhary were elected as
 Vice Presidents , along with five MLAs. Apart from these, Vice-Presidents Inderbir Singh Bularia, Kushaldeep Singh Kicky Dhillon, and Sham Sunder Arora have been appointed. Punjab Congress will have a new treasurer, Amit Vij.



It should be noted that the Congress recently replaced Navjot Sidhu as President with Amarinder Singh Raja Warring. Bharat Bhushan Ashu has also been promoted to acting chief. The Punjab Congress has also undergone changes since then.

For 9 months, Sidhu was also the President of Congress. Despite this he could not appoint beyond himself, the 4 working heads, the general secretary and the treasurer. Sidhu's general secretary was Pargat Singh. Sidhu had appointed him to the position of general secretary. Pargat Singh, on the other hand, distanced himself from Sidhu when he was opposed.
