The unveiling was streamed live on Instagram, and the video showed both the Padukones and the Bhavnanis posing next to the statue. Ranveer can be seen circling the wax figure with a look of admiration and shock on his face. “Can I take her home”, he can be seen asking in the video.

She had said that she was a child when she first visited the museum with her parents. To get the call to have her own statue exhibited made her “Very, very excited.”
“The only time I visited Madame Tussauds was in London when I was very little with my parents. That memory has sort of stayed with me, obviously. And then to receive a letter and now to be a part of that, and to actually experience what goes into making these wax figures. I think Madame Tussauds is so iconic in so many ways so it really special”, she an elated Deepika.
