UP CM Yogi Adityanath to kick start LS poll campaigning on Mar 24

The party will kick start its campaign by worshiping at the Maa Sakumbari Devi temple in Saharanpur

Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will launch the campaigning for Lok Sabha polls in Saharanpur district from March 24. Polls are scheduled to be conducted on April 11 in Saharanpur and seven other constituencies in western UP.

UP BJP general secretary and in-charge of western UP Mr Vijay Bahadur Pathak on Friday said that the party will kick start its campaign by worshiping at the Maa Sakumbari Devi temple in Saharanpur. Yogi is expected to be accompanied by some senior party leaders as well.

After Saharanpur, the UP CM will hold a rally at Mathura on March 26th and will also launch the campaigning in his own native place Gorakhpur, on very same day. "Every day, CM will address at least 2 rallies in the state", informed Mr Pathak.

Beginning from the last week of this month, national party leaders, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP president Amit Shah are also expected to address several meetings across the state.
