Asif Ghafoor Terrorist Organization Pashtun protest movement

New Delhi: Pakistan army spokesperson Asif Ghafoor on Monday, in an astonishing claim said that there are no terror organizations on Pakistan soil anymore.  Ironically, the statement came despite of the UN moves to put sanctions on JeM chief Masood Azhar who lives and operates from Pakistan.

In a press-conference in Rawalpindi, DG-ISPR Asif Ghafoor held responsible India spy agency RAW for purportedly funding the Pashtun protest movement, PTM. He said, “We gave a befitting reply to Indian aggression on February 27 and we can do it again, India is lying constantly for last two months.”

On PTM protest, Ghafoor said the Pakistan neighbour should remember that this is not 1971 the year east Pakistan split from Pakistan and became Bangladesh. He also challenged India to reveal the happenings post the Balakot airstrikes.

Pakistan counter terrorism organization Nacta (National Counter-Terrorism Authority) in March, announced a ban on 69 terror organization. However, the ban list did not include dreaded terror organization like Hizb-ul-Mujahideen, Harkat-ul-Mujahideen and Al Badr operating in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK). Over half of the terror groups on India banned list continue to operate from Pakistan.
