Railway Recruitment Board has notified the date of exam for recruitment of junior engineers for which 13, 847 vacancies were announced in December last year. RRB JE exam will be directed on May 22, 2019.
RRB on its official website released a notice to declare the dates. As per the notice, admit card for the first computer based test (CBT) for RRB junior engineer, JE IT, depot material superintendent (DMS) and chemical and metallurgical assistant (CMA) will be released four days before the exam which signifies that the applicants will be able to download their admit cards from May 18 onwards.
The e- call letter will be indicative of the exam city, time and exam Centre. Candidates are advised to bring one original photo ID card, passport size color photograph, along with a printed copy of e- call letter without which candidates won’t be allowed to enter the examination hall.

RRB JE MOCK TEST
Candidates will be able to attempt a mock test online on May 12 in order to get an idea about online computer tests.
RRB JE EXAM PATTERN
The 90 minute duration exam will inculcate 100 objective questions with a negative marking criteria of 1/3rd of marks for every wrong answer.

RRB JE RECRUITMENT 2019
“The 1st stage CBT is of screening nature and the standard of questions for the CBT will be generally in conformity with the educational standards and/or minimum technical qualifications prescribed for the posts. The normalized score of 1st stage exam shall be used only for short listing of candidates for 2nd stage exam as per their merit. Candidates who are shortlisted for the 2nd stage CBT,availing the reservation benefits of a community, PwBD and ExSM shall continue to be considered only against that community for all subsequent stages of recruitment process,” the notification regarding recruitment read.
