Ragava Lawrence steps out of “Kanchana” remake says “self-respect is more important"

The south’s famous actor –director is still willing to give his script to Akshay Kumar

This south Indian star Ragava Lawrence is supposed to be directing the Laxmmi Bomb, the Hindi remake of the successful Kanchana, however, he stepped out of project recently. 

Lawrence reportedly posted his reason of withdrawal on his twitter handle and said “I don’t want to mention the reason because there are multiple reasons, but one of them is that the first look poster of the film which was released today without my knowledge and even without discussing anything with me. I was informed about this by a third person. It is very painful for a director to know about his movie first look release from others.”

He also added to the issue and said “I can hold back the script because I haven’t signed any agreement regarding this film, but I won’t do it because it is unprofessional. I’m ready to give my script because I personally respect Akshay kumar sir a lot. They can replace me with some other director according to their wish. I’m going to meet Akshay Kumar sir give the script and step out of the project a good way. All the very best to the entire team. I wish the movie great success”.  

There has been no official response neither from Akshay kumar nor from the team side. The film features some renowned names of Bollywood like Akshay Kumar and Kira Advani in lead roles and film is set to release in June 2020.
