The body of 12-year-old Ajay, a resident of Punjabi Bagh (Pathankot Bypass) who had been missing from Jalandhar for the previous three days, was discovered floating in a canal. The mother of the dead Ajay claims that her son did not drown in the canal; rather, she claims that he was killed and thrown into the canal. While playing marbles with some youngsters, his son Ajay got into a fight with them. They enticingly led him to the Ballan Canal.
At first, the kids on the canal flung stones at his head. They grabbed him up after he passed out and flung him into the canal. Ajay's body arrived in Gadaipur due to the canal's high water level and was then floating above it. Ajay's body has currently been delivered to the family by the police after a post-mortem has been performed.
Ajay had reportedly gone to play with his three mates. His family, friends, and acquaintances looked everywhere when he failed to get home that evening. Ajay's missing person report was finally filed by the family in Police Station Division No. 8.
