A bus carrying school children slipped down the flyover at Jalandhar-Amritsar National Highway

The failed steering caused the bus to slip down the flyover. The failure could be the poor maintenance of the vehicle.

The accident involves no human loss and the passengers escaped the accident with mere injuries. The bus carried around 20 children and was supposed to drop the children at Lovely Professional University.

The bus driver namely Gurnam Singh stated that he was traveling from Amritsar to Jalandhar for admission in Lovely Professional University.

According to the reports, the steering of the bus freed while they were on the flyover and the bus went down on the railway track and fortunately, there were no trains running on the track during this incident. The police of Baramati and PCR of Thana Ramana station started the investigation.
