A youth Sundar Singh alias Jaggu of Bhulath, Kapurthala district died due to drug overdose. After getting the information of the incident, the Bhulath police took Sundar Singh to civil a hospital for postmortem. SHO Gaurav Dheer confirmed that necessary action will be taken after the post mortem report.
According to information, Sundar Singh alias Jaggu s/o Bhupinder Ram and his accomplice Satta and Kulwinder Singh who were allegedly injecting drugs on a motorcycle at a village in Sidhwan Road. Meanwhile, Sundar Singh fainted due to drug overdose and his two accomplices Satta and Kulwinder Singh fled from the spot.

On the way, A person passing saw Sundar Singh in an unconscious state on a motorcycle, he informed his family members and took him to the Hospital in an unconscious state, where he was declared dead. It is said that the deceased youth was married and has three children.
Bhulath police has sent Sundar Singh's body to Kapurthala civil hospital fir post-mortem and SHO Gaurav Dheer said the cause of death would be known after the post-mortem report.
