The NCB arrested a leading Bollywood production house along with another person. They were in possession of 16 packets of cocaine weighing 17.6 grams.
Suraj Godambe, a well-known hairstylist and the head of make-up department, was arrested following a tip-off. The supplier is one Lalachanda Yadav, an auto driver working for a Nigerian drug cartel with operations in Mumbai.
The hair stylist will be interrogated. There is suspicion that he peddles the drugs to further people. The worth of the 17.6 grams of cocaine is Rs 56,000.
Yadav has informed that he worked for a Nigerian drug cartel and Mumbai is the place where they peddle their drugs. The phones of both the people are being analysed by the NCB.
