Nagaland Tourism and Higher Education Minister Temjen Imna Along is known for his witty and humorous posts on his socials. Today was no different as he posted a hilarious video on X showing him being dragged out a muddy pond by several people with the help of a crane. He was cracking jokes ‘I was biggest fish’ and ‘JCB ka test hai’ while being dragged out of the pond by onlookers, who were in laughing fits at the absurdity of the situation. Somehow, he was rescued from his “turmoil”, following which he defeatedly sat in a plastic chair, but not without thanking the good Samaritans.
He posted the incident on X with the caption, ”Aaj JCB ka Test tha! (Was a test for the JCB) Note: It's all about NCAP Rating, Gadi Kharidney Se Pehley NCAP Rating Jarur Dekhe. Kyunki Yeh Aapke Jaan Ka Mamla Hain!! (Because it can be a matter of your life).” The post has subsequently gone viral on the platform with over 165.7k views (at the time of writing). The netizens were quick to react with their own quips with one commenter saying “patla hoiye Maharaj” (get thinner king!), “Jindabad mantri ji” and so on.
Mr Inma Along is an active social media user. Last year, he shared a picture of a gift he sent to Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone when he met her parents, badminton legend Prakash Padukone and Ujjala Padukone. The minister gifted a locally sourced organic pumpkin and humorously connected the gesture to Deepika's role as Mastani in the film 'Bajirao Mastani', implying a recognition of Nagaland's special vegetables.
