Aam Aadmi Party's Mohalla clinics in Punjab will start from August 15. Initially, 75 Mohalla Clinics are being opened. The name has been linked with the party's name 'Aam Aadmi Clinic'. First pictures of the clinics have also surfaced. 

The AAP government of Punjab claims that in these clinics, people will get better treatment facilities closer to home. During the elections, Aam Aadmi Party had promised that Mohalla Clinics would be built in Punjab along the lines of Delhi.

Initially, one mohalla clinic was announced in each assembly constituency. However, starting from August 15, 75 clinics are being built at present. These are opened in the vacant buildings of the service centers built during the time of the Akali government. These were closed by Captain Amarinder Singh-led Congress government.

Aam Aadmi Party is on the target of opposition. They alleged that the AAP government is opening a clinic for the entire assembly constituency which won't be of much use. On the other hand, the Aam Aadmi Party says that this is just the beginning. Their number will be increased in the coming time.
