Aamir Khan and Fatima Sana Shaikh, Bollywood's talented duo, are once again in the limelight due to their alleged romantic involvement. The sparks of their rumored relationship have ignited once more as they sign up for a total of six upcoming films together.
Aamir Khan's upcoming six films:
Aamir’s break from acting: Actor Aamir Khan took a break from acting following his last release, "Laal Singh Chaddha," over a year ago.
Sitare Zameen Par: Aamir Khan is set to return to the silver screen in January 2024 with his self-produced movie, Sitare Zameen Par, which he will also act in.
Six upcoming films: Besides Sitare Zameen Par, Aamir Khan has a total of five other films in the lineup, which will feature Fatima Sana Shaikh.
The Films:
· Laapata Ladies: Under Kiran Rao's direction, this film is currently making rounds at national and international film festivals. Starring Nitaanshi Goyal, Chhaya Kadam, and Ravi Kishan, it's anticipated to hit theaters on January 5, 2024.
· Preetam Pyare: A comedy film set in a small town featuring Sanjay Mishra, Neeraj Sood, and Aamir Khan's son, Junaid. Aamir Khan himself makes a cameo appearance in this film, directed by Sunil Pandey.
· Lahore 1947: Recently announced, this film will see Aamir Khan alongside Sunny Deol. Directed by Rajkumar Santoshi, it portrays a story during the 1947 partition.
· One Day (Remake): Aamir Khan ventures into the realm of remakes once more, following "Forest Gump." This time, he's recreating the 2011 romantic film One Day, starring Junaid Khan and Sai Pallavi.
· Sitare Zameen Par: A remake of the Spanish film Campeones, this film is directed by R.S. Prasanna and stars Aamir Khan and Genelia D'Souza. The shooting is set to commence in January 2024, with a Christmas 2024 release in sight.
The rumors resurface:
Aamir Khan had previously offered Fatima Sana Shaikh the lead role in the Hindi remake of the Malayalam film Jay Jay Hey, although the project never materialized.
Nevertheless, their collaboration in a script by Adwait Chandan seems to have reignited the dating rumors. Fatima Sana Shaikh is currently shooting her debut web series under Nitya Mehra's direction, and once that wraps up, she will commence shooting for Adwait Chandan's film.
