The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Tuesday released its second of candidates who will fight Lok Sabha Elections in Punjab. AAP in its second list announced the name of two candidates who will fight the General Elections in Punjab. In its first list, AAP had announced eight candidates including Sushil Rinku from Jalandhar. However, Sushil Rinku has joined the BJP and will be fighting the Lok Sabha Elections 2024 from the Jalandhar constituency. Below is AAP's candidates list-
AAP's candidates list for Lok Sabha Elections 2024 in Punjab
- Raj Kumar Chabbewal from Hoshiarpur
- Malvinder Singh Kang from Anandpur Sahib
Notably, Raj Kumar Chabbewal is a former Congress leader. He was first elected to the Punjab Legislative Assembly from Chabbewal in 2017. In 2022, he was re-elected from the same constituency. He was elected as MLA in 2022. The Aam Aadmi Party gained a strong 79% majority in the sixteenth Punjab Legislative Assembly by winning 92 out of 117 seats in the 2022 Punjab Legislative Assembly election.
On the other hand, Malvinder Singh Kang is the Spokesperson of the Aam Aadmi Party.
