After winning the election, AAP is facing many challenges in Punjab. In just three months after the formation of the new AAP government in Punjab, their three MLA face serious charges of corruption and fraud. But interestingly all these MLAs are yet to be expelled from the party.

Yesterday, the health and welfare minister Vijay Singla was arrested in a corruption case. He was dismissed from Cabinet but still continues to be in the party. He asked for a 1 % commission on every work tender of the department. Currently, he is on three-day police remand.

Earlier, CBI raided Jaswant Singh Gajjanmajra. He won the election from Amargarh. A case of misusing Rs. 40 crore bank loan, was registered against him. CBI also recovered Rs 16 lakh cash from his house.

Dr. Balbir Singh, who is MLA from Patiala Dehati, was sentenced to 3 years imprisonment by Ropar court in an assault case filed by his sister-in-law in 2011. Despite all this party not only gave him a ticket but did not expel him from the party.

Malvinder Singh Kang, the Chief Spokesperson of the AAP party said that the party has no room for tainted people. Any leader of the party, whether it is MLA or minister will not be spared.

But many opposition leaders are saying AAP is doing a political drama, if they are really concerned they should immediately expel all these MLAs.
