In the lead up to the Jalandhar Lok Sabha by pol elections, Deputy Commissioner-cum-Returning Officer for the Jalandhar Parliamentary Constituency Jaspreet Singh, received the nomination of AAP Candidate Sushil Kumar Rinku at the local DAC on Monday.

The nomination was filed by Sushil Kumar Rinku in the presence of Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann and Finance Minister Harpal Cheema, in a show of solidarity among the leaders of the AAP. Sushil Kumar Rinku is a former congress leader who made the switch to the AAP recently. He also brought in other leaders to bolster the ranks of the AAP, making him an important acquisition for the party.
