Former Pakistani allrounder Abdul Razzaq on Tuesday came under the scanner of social media after he made derogatory remarks against Bollywood actress Aishwarya Rai in a bid to slam the PCB. Abdul Razzaq was slamming the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) over the Team's dismal performance in the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 and to do so he pulled out a bizarre Aishwarya Rai analogy.

Responding to a media question about the Pakistan team’s recent performances in the ICC World Cup, Abdul Razzaq said, "We don’t have good intentions to develop and polish players in Pakistan. If you think that by marrying Aishwarya Rai, a good and pious kid would be born, it would never happen."

Despite Abdul Razzaq's controversial comment on Aishwarya Rai, other cricketers Shahid Afridi, and Umar Gul were seen laughing and giggling over the former allrounder's remarks.

However, fans on social media are slamming Abdul Razzaq over his insensitive remarks against Aishwarya Rai. Aishwarya Rai is a former Miss World & an ace Bollywood actress. Not only this, Aishwarya is also the daughter-in-law of Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan. Aishwarya is married to Abhishek Bachchan and they have one daughter as well named Aaradhya.

How did fans react to Abdul Razzaq's comment on Aishwarya Rai?

A user wrote, "Take out cricket out of Razzaq and I can totally see your typical half-educated pind guy riding a bike, flaunting a gold chain, watching movies, playing cards etc  and doing chichora pan with friends all day .. if not for cricket these kind of people wouldn’t get a forum to speak and they speak on everything under the sun  except cricket when they do.."

Another user wrote, "I feel bad for Pakistani women.. what a shameless example"

One more user wrote, "Lost all respect for younis and misbah for laughing at this analogy!"

"I rather lose every World Cup than give examples like this, why such people have forums to speak ???" wrote another user.
