Kathmandu Police, on Saturday, said that twenty-three people have died while 14 others have sustained injuries when a college bus carrying students and teachers back from a botanical field trip plunged into a ravine in western Nepal. 19 male and four female bodies have been recovered by the rescuers from the incident site, reported a Kathmandu post. 
The injured are receiving treatment at the Kohalpur Medical College, Banke one among whom has been referred to the Rapti Zonal Hospital, Tulsipur for further treatment.
The fatal crash occurred when the bus, on Friday evening deviated off the road and fell some 700 metres down at Ramri along the Tulsipur-Salyan road section.
