'Accused should be hanged': CM Arvind Kejriwal on Delhi woman being dragged by car for 4 km

The victim worked in an event management company and during the accident was returning from a New Year celebration.

A heart-wrenching video is doing rounds on various social media handles from Delhi where a girl trapped under a car was dragged for four kilometers by the driver. The 20-year-old girl was so mercilessly dragged that all her clothes were torn and she died a very painful death.

Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal has now given a statement in this regard. He shared a tweet related to the Delhi accident and wrote that whatever happened with the Delhi girl Kanjhawala is very shameful. He further added that the accused of this incident should be hanged and severely punished. Many other political leaders have also come forward and expressed their grief about what happened. All are demanding justice for the deceased.

Reportedly, whole incident was captured on the CCTV installed nearby. The footage clearly shows that a Baleno car was moving on the road when they collided with a scooter-riding girl. The vehicles collided and the victim got trapped under the car. Instead of getting out and helping her, the accused increased the speed of their vehicle and dragged the girl for about 4 km. On being dragged, all her clothes got torn, she got serious bruises on her whole body, especially her back. Both her legs got fractured and she died.
