In another action against drugs, DGP Gaurav Yadav led Punjab Police recovered 73 Kg of heroin in a joint operation with Maharashtra Police at Nhava Sheva Port.
In the last week, the Punjab Police has recovered a total of 148 Kg of heroin in joint inter-state operations with the help of Central Agencies.
Earlier, an input regarding Heroin being concealed in a container of unstitched clothes at Mundra Port was shared by Punjab Police with Gujarat ATS. After which, in a joint operation the police recovered 75 Kg of heroin. This consignment was booked by a Punjab-based importer.
