Earlierthis morning it was announced that actor Vivek have had a heart attack. His fansand other celebrities from the industry are wishing him good health and a speedyrecovery. In the evening, the hospital authority released a statement on theactor's health condition. According to the statement, Vivek’s health condition isgetting critical, and is currently in the Intensive Care Unit of SIMS hospital,Chennai. The hospital authority also says that the actor's complication may not bedue to the Covid vaccination.
The statementreads as “Actor Padma Shri Dr. Vivek was brought to the hospital in anunconscious state by 11:00 am today to the emergency room by specialists. Later,he underwent an emergency Coronary Angiogram followed by Angioplasty. He iscurrently in critical condition on ECMO in the Intensive Care Unit. This is anacute Coronary Syndrome with cardiogenic shock. This is a separate Cardiacevent. It may not be due to COVID vaccination”.
It was onlyyesterday when the actor took a jab of the vaccination for COVID 19 at agovernment-run hospital in Chennai. After getting vaccinated Vivek urged thepublic while addressing the press to take the vaccination as soon as possible. Hiswords were, “ Vaccine is the only thing that can save your life. If you ask mewhether people who are vaccinated don’t get infected with Covid-19, it does notwork like that. Even if COVID-19 hits you there won’t be dead”.
