Earlier this morning it was announced that actor Vivek have had a heart attack. His fans and other celebrities from the industry are wishing him good health and a speedy recovery. In the evening, the hospital authority released a statement on the actor's health condition. According to the statement, Vivek’s health condition is getting critical, and is currently in the Intensive Care Unit of SIMS hospital, Chennai. The hospital authority also says that the actor's complication may not be due to the Covid vaccination.
The statement reads as “Actor Padma Shri Dr. Vivek was brought to the hospital in an unconscious state by 11:00 am today to the emergency room by specialists. Later, he underwent an emergency Coronary Angiogram followed by Angioplasty. He is currently in critical condition on ECMO in the Intensive Care Unit. This is an acute Coronary Syndrome with cardiogenic shock. This is a separate Cardiac event. It may not be due to COVID vaccination”.
It was only yesterday when the actor took a jab of the vaccination for COVID 19 at a government-run hospital in Chennai. After getting vaccinated Vivek urged the public while addressing the press to take the vaccination as soon as possible. His words were, “ Vaccine is the only thing that can save your life. If you ask me whether people who are vaccinated don’t get infected with Covid-19, it does not work like that. Even if COVID-19 hits you there won’t be dead”.
