Actress Bhavana Menon says, 'she lost her dignity after sexual assault & violence, didn't get any work in the industry'

The actress has spoken of fighting a strong fight without worrying about the consequences. During the interview, the actress said that, I was constantly asking myself why only me, once I thought that it was a bad dream. 

I wanted to go back before that time so that I could change everything and my life would be the same.The actress said that her family, including her husband, close relatives, friends and the general public, supported Dileep during her painful times. I feel lonely despite the strong support given by my family and friends. 

Apart from this, she also told how she was insulted. On January 9, five years after the kidnapping and sexual assault, Bhavana shared a statement on her social media and spoke about the humiliation she had faced over the years following the incident. 

The actress told that she was kidnapped in 2017 when she was returning home from a shooting and was sexually assaulted by some men. She recalled the treatment meted out to her by the criminals on social media after the traumatic incident and said that after that she also faced difficulties in acting in the Malayalam film industry.
