Southern Rebel Star and Bahubali fame Prabhas’ new project Adipurush is caught amidst heavy trolling and criticism soon after its teaser was released yesterday.

The reason is its poor graphics, based on Indian mythology the event the film is being directed by national award-making filmmaker Om Raut where Prabhas will be seen as Lord Ram.

The teaser was unveiled by the makers on Sunday during a grand teaser launch event that was held in Ayodhya.

Though the teaser has created much hype and interest among the viewers, the graphics seem to be a concern for the movie lovers who have disowned the presentation and projected their feelings.

Many went on to compare it with the cartoon channel POGO and leveled it as disgusting for making a whopping expense of 500 crores. Others drew the lines of the movie with the mobile game Temple run for the ordinary VFX presentation. Some of it goes like:

The teaser showcased Prabhas as Lord Ram who is ready to destroy the empire of evil built by Lankesh played by Saif Ali Khan. Ramayana is an epic that is in the heart of most Hindus and feels it to be part of their heritage.

Apart from it, the teaser displays Lankesh’s 10 heads on display alongside Lord Ram walking on the Ram Setu with ‘Vanar Sena’, besides meeting reel Laxman and Sita played by Sunny Singh and Kriti Sanon.

The epic story is a joint production by T Series and Retrophiles and is set to release on January 12, 2023, in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada. The film will also be presented in 3D and IMAX.
