Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath has received death threats from Pakistan-ISI’s sponsored terror outfit Khalistan Zindabad Force (KZF) after three terrorists were killed in an encounter. Three terrorists all hailing from Gurdaspur, Punjab were killed in an encounter in a joint operation by Punjab Police and UP Police. All three terrorists were said to be operatives of KZF and they were involved in multiple grenade attacks on Punjab Police Stations.
Ranjeet Singh Nita of KZF released a 2-minute and 23-second video in which he issued death threats to UP CM Yogi Adityanath. Nita also threatened to avenge the deaths of their three operatives from Punjab as well as UP Police. In the audio, Nita further said to produce the FIR which was registered against the three deceased operatives. Nita ultimately said that the Khalistan Zindabad Force would avenge their deaths.
According to intelligence reports, Nita has established links with KZF operatives in Germany, who are providing logistical support and funding for terror activities in India. These operatives are reportedly responsible for smuggling arms, ammunition, and explosives into Punjab, enabling attacks like the Gurdaspur grenade incident. Furthermore, reports suggest that Nita operates from Pakistan.
DGP Gaurav Yadav identified three operatives killed in the encounter as Varinder Singh alias Ravi of Agwan in Kalanaur, Gurwinder Singh of Bhaini Bania Mohalla in Kalanaur and Jashanpreet Singh alias Partap Singh of Shur Khurd in Kalanaur. Police teams in UP have also recovered two AK-47 rifles and two 9MM Glock pistols from their possession.
He said that preliminary investigation has revealed that this terror module is controlled by Pak-based Ranjeet Singh Nita, the chief of KZF, and operated by Greece-based Jaswinder Singh Mannu, a native of village Agwan village in Kalanaur.
Notably, accused Varinder alias Ravi, who was leading the module, also belongs to Agwan village and he was being further controlled and masterminded by UK based Jagjeet Singh, reported to be working in the British Army and using assumed identity Fateh Singh Baghi, using which he also claimed the responsibility of the grenade attack, he added.
