Advocate Amarjeet Singh Rai, head of the Human Rights andMedia Organization and a member of the Jalalabad Bar Association, committedsuicide by inhaling a poisonous substance on the Tikri border against the newagricultural laws passed by the central government.
Advocate Amarjeet was referred to PGI Rohtak in criticalcondition, where he was declared brought dead.
According to the information, Advocate Amarjeet Singh Raihad ingested the poisonous substance. A letter has also been left in the nameof the Prime Minister Narendra Modi. “The letter is a computer-typed suicidenote in which Advocate Amarjit Singh Rai has described PM Modi as Adani andAmbani's PM”.
In the letter,Advocate Amarjeet has described all three agricultural laws as anti-farmer. Thethree agricultural laws will destroy the lives of farmers, laborers and commonpeople. It is being told that Advocate Amarjeet Singh Rai had already typed theletter before he decided to take this extreme step.
The Police are currently investigating the case.
