Advocate Amarjeet Singh Rai, head of the Human Rights and Media Organization and a member of the Jalalabad Bar Association, committed suicide by inhaling a poisonous substance on the Tikri border against the new agricultural laws passed by the central government.

Advocate Amarjeet was referred to PGI Rohtak in critical condition, where he was declared brought dead.

According to the information, Advocate Amarjeet Singh Rai had ingested the poisonous substance. A letter has also been left in the name of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi. “The letter is a computer-typed suicide note in which Advocate Amarjit Singh Rai has described PM Modi as Adani and Ambani's PM”.

 In the letter, Advocate Amarjeet has described all three agricultural laws as anti-farmer. The three agricultural laws will destroy the lives of farmers, laborers and common people. It is being told that Advocate Amarjeet Singh Rai had already typed the letter before he decided to take this extreme step.

The Police are currently investigating the case.
