Agonizing incident of a 100-year-old building collapse in Mumbai leaves 12 dead and other trapped inside

Mumbai which is famously known for its congested constructions is finally facing the grief consequences. The collapsed building in the city left everyone in jeopardy on Tuesday.

 In the Dongri area, a 100-year-old building collapsed and caused the death of around 12 and the numbers are likely to increase by the time the evacuation is done.

The incident also questioned the humanity of the people and did not really disappoint anybody, the people were seen helping each other and helping the injured in the scene.

Just after the building collapsed to the ground, people in the near site ran into the rescue of the people who were trapped inside. The incident happened to happen after the heavy rains throughout the city. 

According to the report, there are around 40 people trapped inside the collapsed building and the rescue teams are working on saving the trapped people. But the teams are struggling as the area is totally congested and may even cause the trapped people to death.

The officials are working actively to save the people with ten ambulances and fire trucks in the crime site.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed his deep condolence for the families who tragically lost their kin in the incident. He said, "Collapse of a building in Mumbai Dongri is anguishing. My condolences to the families of those who lost their lives. I hope the injured recover soon," on his Twitter.
