In 2021, the festival of Ahoi Ashtami would be celebrated on October 28, four days after Karwa Chauth. The day is celebrated on Ashtami of Krishna Paksha. On this day, women, having children, fast for their long lives, progress, happiness and prosperity. 


Mothers don’t eat or drink anything and in the evening worship goddess Ahoi. Later, offer water to star and conclude their fast. 


On this auspicious day, god Shiva and goddess Parvati are worshipped along with their sons. Ahoi Mata is also worshipped in the evening. 


Ahoi Ashtami 2021: Date and Timing


Date: October 28, 2021, the Ashtami of Krishan Paksha.


Timing: Ahoi Ashtami will start from 12.51 pm on Thursday (28 October 2021) and will be concluded at 02:10 am on Friday (29 October 2021).
