Ajay Devgan along with Sidharth Roy Kapur to produce the upcoming comedy-drama ‘GOBAR’

Actor and producer Ajay Devgan has been in the sky after the release of his recent film ‘Big Bull’. The movie received amazing reviews from the audience. After the success of Big Bull, it seems that Devgan is all set to add one more film to his production list. This time he will team up with Siddarth Roy Kapur to produce a comedy-drama named ‘Gobar’.  This movie will be inspired by real-life events.

In conversation with Variety Siddharth Roy Kapur and Ajay Devgan have confirmed the news of their collaboration. The movie will be backed by Ajay Devgan under his banner ‘Ajay Devgan films and produced by Siddharth under his banner Roy Kapur Films.

Talking about the film Ajay Devgan said, “the story of ‘GOBAR’ is at once unique, relatable and incredibly funny as well as gripping and entertaining to the point that I’m confident it will compel people to go to the theaters”. The actor also expressed that his sole motive to back this film is to make the audience laugh and relaxed after all the stress people went through in the Covid war.

While the Tanhaji actor is enjoying the success of his recent production The Big Bull in which the lead role was played by Abhishek Bachchan there’s much more on his plate right now. Ajay is also shooting for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s upcoming release Gangubai Kathiawadi along with Alia Bhatt. The actor will also be seen in RRR with Jr. NTR and Ram Charan. And his work list doesn't end here; he will also be seen playing in fields as football coach Syed Abdul Rahim in Maidaan. The shooting for the movie is still a work in progress. Maidaan will be directed under Amit Sharma banner and produced  by Boney Kapoor, Akash Chawla, Arunava Joy, and Sen Gupta.
