Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar entered the Forbes top 10 highest-paid actors list. He has charged a huge amount for his upcoming release ‘Bachchan Pandey’. The film, produced by Sajid Nadiadwala and directed by Farhad Samji will hit the theatres on 18th March.
Bachchan Pandey has become the talk of the town, not for its song or action scenes, but, for the remuneration charged by Bollywood Khiladi Akshay Kumar. According to sources, Akshay has charged Rs 100 Crores for the film.
The film, which is the first big festival release of 2022, also stars Jacqueline Fernandez, Arshad Warsi, Kriti Sanon and Pankaj Tripathi. After Housefull 4, Akshay Kumar and Kriti Sanon reunite for this action-comedy. Stars like Prateik Babbar, Sanjay Mishra, Pankaj Tripathi can also be seen doing comedy in the trailer. It is being told that 'Bachchan Pandey' is a remake of the Tamil film 'Jigarthanda'.

In Bachchan Pandey, Akshay plays the character of a gangster who wants to be a film actor. Akshay is working back to back starting with Bell Bottom, he shot Atrangi Re and Prithviraj. Sajid Nadiadwala’s ‘Bachchhan Paandey’ marks the fourth collaboration with Akshay and Farhad Samji after ‘Entertainment’, ‘Housefull 3’ and ‘Housefull 4’
