Akshay Kumar tests negative for coronavirus

Akshay Kumar was shooting for the film Ram Setu when he was tested positive for novel coronavirus. Soon after the positive report he isolated himself and requested all others who came into contact with him to get tested.

Eight days before Akshay Kumar was tested positive for coronavirus and now he is back to his home safe and sound. Twinkle Khanna, wife of the actor shared the news via interesting caricature. The writer posted a caricature on her Instagram handle and captioned it, “Safe and sound and good to have him back around #allizwell.” Twinkle is holding her book ‘Mrs Funnybones’ in the photograph. 

After Akshay was tested positive the shooting for Ram Setu was stopped and his co-actors Jacqueline Fernandez and Nushratt Bharuccha were also tested, and their report was negative but as a precautionary measure, they both are under quarantine. Later, it was reported that 45 crew members were tested positive for coronavirus.

The time when Akshay Kumar was tested positive he penned down, “I wish to tell everyone that, earlier this morning, I have tested positive to the COVID-19. Following all the precautionary measures I have immediately isolated myself. I’m under home quarantine and have sought necessary medical care. I would sincerely request all those that have come in contact with me to get themselves tested and take care. Back in action very soon!”
