After Akshay was tested positive the shooting for Ram Setu was stopped and his co-actors Jacqueline Fernandez and Nushratt Bharuccha were also tested, and their report was negative but as a precautionary measure, they both are under quarantine. Later, it was reported that 45 crew members were tested positive for coronavirus.

The time when Akshay Kumar was tested positive he penned down, “I wish to tell everyone that, earlier this morning, I have tested positive to the COVID-19. Following all the precautionary measures I have immediately isolated myself. I’m under home quarantine and have sought necessary medical care.
