The wait for Bollywood Khiladi Akshay Kumar’s psychological thriller ‘Cuttputlli is soon going over as it hits on the OTT streaming this week.
From the maker of Bell Bottom Ranjit M. Tiwari, the film stars Rakul Preet Singh alongside Akshay with Sargun Mehta, Punjabi comedian actor Gurpreet Ghuggi and Chandrachur Singh who will also be appearing in significant roles in the movie.
Akshay earlier while announcing the release date along with the film’s trailer through his Twitter account posted, "Yeh khel power ka nahi, mind ka hai. Aur is mind game aap aur main... sab #Cuttputlli hain.” The post informed the movie to hit on Disney Plus Hotstar on September 2nd.
Cuttputlli’s Plot:
The film’s plot hovers around the budding director who wishes to make a film on psychopaths but owing to successive rejections, Akshay’s character gives up on his ambition and joins the police force on his family’s advice.
The story goes on and he is now on a quest to find the murderer behind the series of murders shown in the movie, including the violent slaying of a few schoolgirls.
The film is said to be a remake of the 2018 Tamil movie Ratsasan directed by Ram Kumar which featured Vishnu Vishal, Amala Paul, Saravanan, and Kaali Venkat.
The film was also made in Telugu by Ramesh Varma as Rakshasudu (2019), starring Bellamkonda Sreenivas and Anupama Parameswaran.
