Reportedly during the Albion vs Leeds match, Leeds United fans hurled homophobic slurs and also spat at the public. Not only this, Twiiter user named @will_lufc58 allegedly a Leeds United fans shared a video on social media account with the caption, "rattled the gay boys". In the 23 seconds clip, the Leeds fans can be seen in a heated argument with extra stewards and also can be seen abusing.

Notably, after the Leeds vs Albion fans homophobic slur video went viral, the Twitter user made his account private. News Website Argus quoted a fan who said that he saw a Leeds fan shout at a Brighton supporter, calling him a “f****t” and a “p**f”.Furthermore, he said, "He appeared at one point to climb over the handrails to get to the other fan and the police intervened."
