After the inauguration of his new party office at Football Chowk, Jalandhar Central Halka Incharge Nitin Kohli convened a significant meeting with Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) councillors and block-level representatives to discuss pressing issues affecting their respective wards. The meeting, held on Tuesday, brought together elected ward councillors, their representatives, and ward incharges, where concerns related to basic civic amenities, such as streetlights, water supply, and sanitation, were discussed in detail.
During the meeting with councillors, Nitin Kohli acknowledged the urgent need to resolve these longstanding civic challenges. "We will set specific timelines for resolving each issue raised today. I have assured all councillors that we will approach these problems in a time-bound and structured manner. If new concerns arise, we will hold regular daily review meetings to ensure no grievance remains unaddressed,” said Kohli.
Nitin Kohli further affirmed his commitment to accelerating developmental works across all wards in the Central constituency. “Pending development tasks will be prioritised, and our focus will be on delivering results swiftly and transparently,” he added.
The meeting was attended by a host of councillors and leaders, including Shri Ashok Sabharwal, Shri Manjeet Singh Rawat, Shri Rajiv Gill, Shri Manish Sharma, Sarv. Laggandeep Singh (Ward 5), Shri Parveen Pehalwan (Ward 7), Shri Balbir Singh Tutt (Ward 12), Shri Harjeet Minhas (Ward 12), Shri Manmohan Raju (Ward 20), Sarv. Jaswinder Singh (Ward 21), Shri Love Robin (Ward 22), Smt. Ganga Devi (Ward 23), Shri Kartik Sahota (Ward 25), Shri Deepak Kumar (Ward 27), Sarv. Sonu Chaddha (Ward 28), Shri Ajay Chopra (Ward 30), Shri Jagdish Raja (Ward 64), Shri Nikhil Arora (Ward 66), Shri Jatin Gulati (Ward 70), and Shri Vijay Vasan (Ward 65).
After the inauguration of his office, Nitin Kohli said, "This office is going to be extremely convenient for the people of Jalandhar Central, especially those who have been seeking a platform to voice their concerns.
