In a major development, the Mobile Association of Model Town, one of Jalandhar’s prominent commercial areas, has announced a four-day shutdown of mobile shops from June 26 to June 29. The announcement was made by the association's president, Rajiv Duggal, following a meeting with members. As per the shared details, all shops affiliated with the Mobile Association will remain closed for the designated period, and employees working in these establishments will also be granted leave.
The decision aims to provide a collective break for shop owners and staff. President Rajiv Duggal shared the update via an official poster released on Thursday night, informing customers and stakeholders of the scheduled closure. Duggal informed that for now, mobile markets under the association of the model town will remain shut. However, slowly, the entire Jalandhar will observe this mobile market bandh.
