Punjab Education Minister Harjot Singh Bains announced on his official X handle in which he wrote, "All educational institutions — schools, colleges, and universities — across Punjab shall reopen from tomorrow. Regular classes and examinations will proceed as per academic schedule. We are immensely proud of our brave armed forces. Jai Hind Ki Sena. Vasda Rahe Punjab."
Notably, the Punjab Education Minister had announced that all schools, colleges, and universities of Punjab will remain closed from May 9 to May 11. The decision was taken against the backdrop of Pakistan's multiple failed drone and missile attacks in multiple key locations of Punjab, including civilian areas.
