Alleged ‘Dawood’ associate from Bihar held for threatening to blow up Ayodhya Ram Mandir on Jan 22

A 21-year old youth was held in the Araria district of Bihar for threatening to blow up the Ayodhya Temple on the Pran Pratishtha event on Jan 22. The man identified as Mohammad Intekhab, claims to be the Chhota Shakeel from Dawood Ibrahim’s gang.

 

According to reports, the youth posing as an associate for the most wanted gangster Dawood Ibrahim, made several hoax calls to Dial 112, threatening to blow up the temple on its consecration event.

 

After the phone call, the caller’s number was given to the technical investigation unit, who found out that the number was registered to one Mohammad Intekhab, son of Mohammad Ibrahim, a resident of Kaliyaganj in the district.

 

The incident comes shortly after STF Uttar Pradesh arrested two persons for allegedly threatening to kill CM Yogi Adityanath and blow up the Ayodhya Ram Mandir. "A case has been registered in this regard under Palasi police station. Investigations are underway to ascertain as to why and under what conditions the youth dialed 112 to threaten of blowing up the Ram Mandir," an officer of Palasi police station said.
