Allu Arjun-starrer ‘Pushpa: The Rise’ crossed 200-crore worldwide box office collection on Wednesday, five days after its release. The Telugu movie has made people throng cinemas, thanks to its action-packed storyline.

The movie, shot in Telugu originally, was dubbed into five languages, viz Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada, ensuring people from all major-speaking languages tune into it. Allu Arjun, who plays the main male role, takes the shape of a lorry driver who smuggles red sandalwood in the movie.


Within only five days since its release, the movie has been able to rise up the ranks quite swiftly. It has already earned over 200 crores worldwide. 

“Pushpa has stunned the trade with the kind of response it has received worldwide. The film has already crossed ₹200 crore at the ticket window in just five days and is doing well in every language it has been released in,” Trade analyst Trinath was quoted as saying by Hindustan Times.

Taran Adarsh, another trade analyst, also confirmed Pushpa’s success at the box office by putting out the numbers it made in the Hindi-dubbed version.

Apart from Allu Arjun, the film features Rashmika Mandanna and Sunil among others in key roles.
