Directed by famous filmmaker Anurag Kashyap ‘Almost Pyaar with DJ Mohabbat’ will soon be available for users to watch on OTT. The movie stars Alaya Furniturewala, Karan Mehra. The movie is about whether youngsters believe in love or not. Almost Pyaar with DJ Mohabbat showcases two love doomed love stories one in Dalhousie and the other one in London.
Reportedly, Anurag Kashyap’s Almost Pyaar with DJ Mohabbat will be releasing on Netflix exclusively in March 2023. The release date is not confirmed yet but there is conjecture that the movie rights were bought by Netflix.
Talking about the storyline of film, it is about a charming and bubbly schoolgirl whose life revolves around buying DVDs and tuning in to DJ Mohabbat’s podcasts. Her only wish in life is to attend DJ Mohabbat’s played-by Vicky Kaushal hotshot Holi party at a secret location in the hills. One day, her conservative family decided to restrict her movement from the house because of her friendly behavior towards a Muslim boy. The two youngsters for passion for DJ Mohabbat’s music decide to run away from their houses. This decision by them results in chain of events that are sure to not end well. In a parallel world, these two have lookalikes living in London. While the boy is a budding musician, girl is a rich spoilt daughter of a London-based Pakistani businessman. The girls are lookalikes of each other and same with the boys but all are unaware of each other.
