Ex CBI director Alok Verma might soon be facing a departmental action for defying the government's order to join as the chief of Fire Services on Thursday. This may also include the suspension of his pensionary benefits.
The non-compliance of the government order by Alok Verma is being called as the violation of service rules for all India service officers.
The MHA had given directions to Alok Verma to take the charge as director general of the Fire Services, Civil Defence and Home Guards.
