Former Punjab constable Amandeep Kaur, who was popularly known as ‘Insta Queen’ because of attaining fame on social media, was arrested today by the officials of the Vigilance Bureau (VB) from the residence of Raftar Khan, the elder sister of singer Afsana Khan.
It is well-known that the arrest was made in connection with a disproportionate assets case.
According to preliminary information from the police officials, the arrest was made at Badal village in the Muktsar district.
Latest revelation from the investigation into the matter -
The authorities, which are directly linked with the investigation of the case, have revealed that Amandeep has amassed assets worth 31 lakh INR more than her known sources of income between 2018 and 2025.
Some reports have claimed that an anonymous senior officer of the bureau has outlined, “Despite being summoned twice during the probe, she failed to appear before the authorities.”
Along with this, Kulwant Singh, DSP, Vigilance Bureau, Muktsar, stated, “A case under relevant sections of the Prevention of Corruption Act has been registered against dismissed constable Amandeep Kaur at the Vigilance Bureau police station in Bathinda.”

Dismissed Head Constable of Punjab Police, Amandeep Kaur, infamously known as 'Insta Queen', is now facing fresh legal actions. Amandeep Kaur, aka Insta Queen, in April 2025 was dismissed from services and arrested after she was caught with 17.71g heroin inside her Thar SUV during a routine check near Badal flyover in Bathinda. Now, Amandeep Kaur has been arrested by the Punjab Vigilance Bureau in a new case.
As per reports, the Vigilance Bureau has taken 'Insta Queen' Amandeep Kaur into their custody. The anti-corruption unit has taken the dismissed constable for allegedly possessing assets disproportionate to her income. Authorities valued her assets at approximately Rs 1.5 crore, including a house, vehicles, and luxury items.
